Two years ago, on 8/8/23, I was meditating when a profound boom happened in my chest.
It was the same “boom” I felt while hiking and meditating in the foothills above Boulder in my mid-20s, when the word God came through in a way that my Catholic upbringing couldn’t touch. It was the same boom that opened my heart and preceded the download of the Intuitive Healer Training Program. The same boom I felt when my book Becoming an Empowered Empath was born.
This time, the words that came were: “Lead from your light, Wendy.”
That phrase wouldn’t leave me.
It became two online talks I gave that fall, an accelerated course for AIHTP graduates, a book proposal, and a mantra that stayed with me through personal crashes, co-parenting, perimenopausal changes, going back to school, running retreats, rebuilding from the ground up, and every which way I listened to and led from my intuition.
For 30 years, I’ve practiced and taught intuition and energy healing. I’ve always known that the outcome of this work goes deeper than simply learning how to clear energy or develop intuitive abilities.
The truth is, no matter how many tools we have in the toolkit, they don’t touch the root of transformation unless we’re willing to embrace the depth of our light and learn how to live and lead from it–knowing the world won’t always match it, and it won’t always be blissful.
That light is our deepest love. It’s the center of awe. It’s a speechless, all-knowing space that changes every expectation we had of ourselves and others.
It’s our intuition, our joy, our sorrow. It’s the place within us that feels humanity and knows that the self and higher self are one with the greater whole. It’s the place of knowing and mystery, and being content with their co-existence. It’s our mission, our purpose, and the reason we’re here. It’s creation itself.
We all have to live—and we all have to lead ourselves through our lives, and in many cases, we lead others who need our support. Leading from our light means all of this and more.
As these kinds of downloads or “booms” tend to go for me, it takes time to understand what they truly mean. Sometimes, that takes years.
These past two years have been about figuring it out—creating, uncreating, purging, emotional releases, messing up, repairing, and allowing more in—while doing my best to stay true to leading from my light. And in the moments when I couldn’t access that light in myself, the universe would send people who could reflect theirs. That’s how it works, right? We help each other, and the light stays lit.
So now, after 30 years of teaching and practice—and two years of walking with this most recent boom—my core message has changed. For me. For my business. And for what I’m here to offer.
Here it is:
I help people live and lead from the light within.
The light is the center of your intuition. I help you clear the blocks to access that light so you can create your soul-aligned life.
That’s it. And truly—it’s always been this. But these words have landed more deeply now, because they’ve been carved through the seasons of practice and a commitment to our deeper “Why?”.
You’ll start to see some changes. My email banner changed. My website is changing (with more updates to come). I’m updating the messaging on social media, in my podcast, and throughout my programs. Even the intention behind the Energy Healing and Intuition Training and Intuitive Healer Training Program is evolving.
What I mean is: the reason we develop our intuition and clear our blocks is to access our deepest truth—our light, our gifts, our “why.” And when we live and lead from that place, we feel connected and fulfilled.
I’ll be sharing something new this month for all the Divine Guidance Healing lovers—updated, of course—to help us all lead from the light within.
